A 133,000-square-foot-plus interactive space houses surprising recreational attractions showing you how phenomena that occur in our universe, beyond Earth’s atmosphere, impact your public utilities, such as your drinking water, your electric power, and your telecommunications. Some of these phenomena are presented in: the helio-stat, a replica of a Muisca Observatory, the world of winds, a celestial sphere, distant voices, a sundial, eclipses and sun time in Medellín. A varied schedule of free events can be enjoyed at the Parque from Tuesday through Sunday, including movies in an open air theatre, aerobics, theme and children’s workshops, talks about public utilities and astronomy, as well as instrumental and other genre video-concerts. The Parque, financed by the Medellín Public Utilities Foundation, is easily accessible from the University Metro Station.
Hours: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We are closed on Mondays.
