While strolling through this modern edifice, enjoying its ample pedestrian walkways, learning from its exhibits, its cultural and academic offering, and its specialized research and documentation the visitor will come to understand the nature of Colombia’s conflict and how Medellín was able to overcome this particular episode. Its walls, all part of the Bicentennial Square, harbor the history, the culture, and narrative that have marked our recent history expressed in the simple statement: ‘remember to never repeat’. The site was built by the Medellín’s Mayor’s Office.
Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturdays 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
