In what used to be his house and art studio it is now possible to appreciate the artistic legacy of Master Artist, Pedro Nel Gómez, one of Latin America's best known Fine Artists. A legacy of more than 1,500 works which include murals, sculptures, architectural designs, etchings, oil and water paintings can be seen at this site. Master Gómez, who, as an Urban planner, designed the Laureles neighborhood in Medellín, created a library dedicated to art in all its forms. His murals, which are almost entirely found in public places, depict the traditions of the people of Antioquia as well as important events in Colombian history.
